The temperature controller is designed for automatic temperature regulation by switching electrical loads with power up to 1000 W.
The device is based on the 723 integrated circuit and is powered directly from 220 V AC mains voltage. A standard thermistor is used as the temperature sensor.
The 723 IC includes a built-in comparator and output transistor capable of delivering up to 150 mA, allowing the relay to be driven directly without an additional transistor stage. The switching threshold is adjusted using a trimmer potentiometer. Component values are selected so that at the mid-position of the trimmer the maintained temperature is approximately 20 °C.
Two LEDs provide clear status indication - one indicates that the controller is powered on, while the other shows that the load is activated (relay ON).
Using the supplied relay, loads with a maximum power of up to 1000 W can be controlled.
