The controller is based on a PIC microcontroller and features 17 pre-programmed lighting effects, plus a demo mode. In demo mode, all 17 programs are executed automatically, with each program repeated 5 times.
Program selection is performed via a push button, while the effect speed is adjusted using a trimmer potentiometer. The controller includes non-volatile memory that stores the last selected program when power is removed.
The device operates from an 8 to 25V DC power supply. When using 12V LED modules, the supply voltage must be 12V. The maximum output current is up to 5A, depending on the connected LED load.
