The output voltage is adjustable via a trimmer potentiometer in the range of 10 to 14 V. When a rechargeable battery is used, the output voltage is set to 13.6 V to allow float charging.
When input power is present, the unit supplies the load and charges the battery. In the event of input power failure, the load is automatically powered by the battery.
The power supply is suitable for alarm systems and other devices requiring uninterrupted operation. The unit can also operate without a connected battery.
