The device is based on the LM324 integrated circuit, which contains four operational amplifiers configured as comparators. A diode (D4) is used as a sensor and is connected to the far end of the tested circuit.
The tester operates while the button is pressed and provides clear LED indication of the wiring status:
- open wire indication
- reversed wire indication
- short circuit indication
- normal wiring indication
It is suitable for fast diagnostics and fault detection in wiring systems.
