The low frequency power amplifier is implemented using a single operational amplifier and a transistor output stage, providing high dynamic performance and very low nonlinear distortion. It is designed for amplification of low frequency audio signals and is suitable for various high-power audio applications.
The nominal output power is up to 100 W with a ±40 V supply. The input signal level is 0.750 V. The amplifier operates across the full audio frequency range from 20 Hz to 20 kHz.
The amplifier uses a dual DC power supply in the range of ±20 - ±40 V, with a maximum current consumption of up to 2 A.
The output transistors 2N3055 / KD503 and TIP42C / BD244 must be mounted on a heatsink using insulating pads.
The recommended heatsink area is greater than 100 cm².
