The melodies are preprogrammed into the microcontroller and change automatically without any additional settings. The device can be used as a standalone unit or integrated into an existing doorbell installation.
When used with a standard apartment doorbell system, the relay coil should be connected in place of the old doorbell. One side of the relay coil must pass through a diode to rectify the voltage. The relay contacts are then connected to the melody doorbell button input.
