The device is a five-channel passive tone control (equalizer) designed for adjusting the frequency response of an audio signal. The circuit is implemented using two transistors and passive RC filters. The transistors are used to compensate for the attenuation introduced by the passive filters.
The level of each frequency band is adjusted using slider potentiometers. Depending on their position, the corresponding frequency is either boosted or attenuated. In the center position of the sliders, the signal remains unchanged.
The power supply is single-polar and operates with a DC voltage in the range of 6 to 12 V.
The frequency of each channel can be modified by changing the corresponding RC group (RC filter).
